Hermine Roomes-Daley Scholarship

Hermine Roomes-Daley was a teacher at Calabar from 1969 until 1980. She taught multiple subjects through all grades and was extremely dedicated to the boys. She strongly believed in the benefits of education and sought to support and motivate her students through her examples of dedication and hard work as well as her performance in the classroom. Her sons Wayne Daley, Michael Daley and nephews Barrington Roomes and Nevin Powell also attended Calabar. She was very active in the Atlanta chapter of the Calabar Old Boys Association participating in the walkathons and other activities of the chapter.
