Arthur J. Edgar is the first Jamaican-born headmaster of Calabar High School. He served with distinction in that capacity from September 1972 to August 1980. He was also the headmaster when the Calabar High School football team toured England and Wales in 1973, won the Walker Cup for the first time in 1974, and wrestled away the Championship Cup from Kingston College in 1976. He is a member of the Atlanta Chapter of COBA, and continues to be a strong supporter of Calabar High School.
